A couple of years ago trying to do Lessons through online video would have been slow and clumsy...and pretty ridiculous.  However, now it is a powerful, efficient, convenient and dynamic way of imparting information!!

Although I have turned off the sound on this Video...Picture and Sound quality are for the most part Crystal Clear!

The System used gives you the option to...
..Record either side or both side of the Lessons Video and Audio feed
..Pause and restart the recording during the Lesson
..Easily edit and put notes in the video if you choose...
..Store the video on your hard drive to refer back to during the week.

Of recent times "Skype" and other companies have made major advances in their platforms...  The Guitar Studio also has made sure that it is very advanced in the way that it can "live produce" Lessons...We stream at a very high rate thanks to a Fiber-optics connection and we use high quality video capture and microphones coupled with simultaneous screen sharing and screen split options etc, allowing for a very accurate and streamlined learning experience.

It is the perfect solution if you are pushed for time, a corporate, work in an office, or at a computer terminal etc...Now you could take a lesson in your lunch break etc, where as in the past travel time, combined with lesson time, may have just equaled to much time ;). • Video Conference Lessons are very convenient...Both from the point of view that now you can take Lessons with the Guitar Studio where ever you are in the World, and also if you are a local student, and find yourself out of town etc, now you can still have your Lesson and not fall behind with your progress.
• Close-up shots with the camera clarify hand positions and movement. (the teacher camera can get very close to the fingers to clarify every detail of position and movement). Often, the video actually is easier to watch and follow with pinpoint accuracy.  The Tutor can control what they want you to see with greater clarity and focus.
• You also have the option to record your entire lesson and replay it while you practice during the week.

• As well as using the normal room view (in HD) the system is switchable between a variety of different Cams with adjustable angles.

• You can selected full screen mode at your end, and the picture you will see, will be pretty much the size of your entire computer screen.

• As well being able to send documents (music) in real time, I can also share my screen and in so doing point out the specific parts we are working on.

• Then back to what either the right or left hand is meant to be doing.

• Pretty much any angle can be covered with the cams!
